JCS Senior DMAX Round 6

A challenging but rewarding return to racing after a two-month break.

Qualifying saw us with decent pace, putting the kart P10 on the grid for Race 1. We acheived our target of a top-10 finish, bringing it home in P10.

Race 2 was another hard-fought contest, finishing in P11. The kart felt down on power on the straights, making it difficult to defend and maintain position but we kept pushing to the flag.

Despite the challenging conditions, lap times were around 2 seconds per lap quicker than our previous visit to Daytona Tamworth. The longer race format was physically demanding, but incredibly enjoyable.

After two months off for injury, Rachel's return to racing at the 6th round of the Jamie Chadwick Series was overall a success with lots learnt and discovered.
